Lauren Lutzke is a Masters student in the School for Environment & Sustainability at the University of Michigan. Her current research is unfolding on two fronts. She is conducting an experiment to test approaches for helping individuals recognize fake news that often appears in social media feeds like Facebook. She is also working on a study funded by the National Science Foundation to help elevate social concerns in policy (e.g., surrounding climate change and energy) and business (e.g., the social and environmental impacts of consumers’ interest in “fast fashion”) decision-making. Lauren received a B.A. in psychology from the University of Michigan in 2015.
